The song "Seven" reminds me of Naegi...

"I'm going to keep moving forward, with hope in my heart..."
This carrd isn’t a joke. I love Makoto Naegi so much. I’d do anything for such a sweet soul. I think he’s the most underrated protagonists out of all three guys. In my perspective, he is not treated good enough. You have every right to disagree with me or not, but I will never, ever change my perspective and my ideas of Makoto Naegi. He is the love of my life and literally the only male I would actually be willing to date.
You don’t know perfect and special the boy is to me. He’s the most thoughtful and caring protagonist out of all three. Sure he’s “ordinary” as he says himself, but I see much more in him. Even his little quirks like his weird optimism, or how he’s stupidly naive. I think it’s really cute.. how he’s just himself. He’s so dorky, sweet, so civil, and how he can be so forgivable. I look up to him because he has those manners that I don’t have. As a cold, quiet person, I’d love to learn how to be so colorful like him.
Seeing Naegi happy makes me fill so much joy. I get butterflies in my stomach whenever I hear him talk. Everything is just perfect about him: his ideas of hope, how he never gives up on people and importantly himself. He’s just so supportive and I’m sure that’s what I love most about him.
I like to believe he’s so forgivable because he never loses hope, especially on others. This is why he never backs down. This is also why he’s forgiving when people fall into despair. He always see the hope inside of someone. Naegi is a strong individual and never, ever gives up on someone.
I have to be honest, Naegi wasn’t as special to me as my other comfort characters like Leon, Tord, Celeste, etc. I never payed too much attention to him. This time, I actually had the time to see his character, and how he developed.
I actually understood him and how social he is and so I wish to have such a colorful personality and optimism like him.
My interest gained for him quickly in February of 2019. I have never fallen for character this hard in my entire life. I hold on to Naegi as if he was my lifeline. He means so much to me. Yet though, as much as I hate comparing myself as him, I just can’t help to love the guy. He’s just. So in color.
Though at times he is insecure and he feels like he’s not good enough to stop despair and Junko’s ideas. He knows that a little bit of enthusiasm gets him back on his feet. Seeing him sad, upset, or hurt makes my heart shatter. I never want to see Naegi sad in any way.
Naegi has to be the most attractive protagonist, he’s adorable. His hair, his eyes, his posture, his personality, his idea of hope, how he’s sooo dorky, and how he’s just himself. How he never gives up. He’s always right in the end, he tries so hard. I want him to have a break. The poor boy has had so much. That’s why I believe he’s so valuable than any other.
To his Hope ideas and him saying the stupid stuff ever like “Y-Ya know, if you pronounced ‘Thursday’ like “Thaursday’... that’d be kinda funny...” Like soft, adorable, dorky men is what really gets me soft to the heart. He’s so cute with his little dorky comments. He’s like that type of boyfriend that gets worried for the smallest things ever, that type of boyfriend who’s always willing to be on their s/o’s side, that type of boyfriend to be so protective. He would be so shy and blushy and that’s what gets me go ❤️__❤️. He’s just that adorable I can’t even handle it.
I want to give Makoto Naegi a big fat kiss on the lips and tell him “Thank you, for everything..” he’s done so much for me it’s insane. He’s helped me through very, very rough times. Naegi makes me soooo happy. My mood always creases when someone mentions him, or when I see a picture of him happy.
I love to hear to everyone’s cute little headcanons of Makoto Naegi. It always bursts me into joy. Mine is that I really do think he’s special and talented somewhere very deep inside of him. I still wish I can hear more of him...
Makoto Naegi is literally so fucking attractive. He has to be the cutest out of all three. His design is not so dull and not so depressing. It’s like what a perfect boy would be. His voice in eng. and jap. dub is so amazing. Kudos to the voice actors.
Naegi’s hair looks so soft and smooth I just want to let him do bad. He’s so adorable god I jsbdjfndmdnfk. His sweater looks so comfy, I would actually love to wear it. He looks so warm and welcoming, I want to give him a hug and just cuddle with him so bad. I want him to hold me so tight like as if he was going to lose me.
Naegi is a BABEY and all I ever want to do is just hold him in my arms and kiss his forehead (even though I am his height... I just want to be the top here leave me alone.) and just kiss cute face and never stop loving him.
I guess I would say I do use him to cope. Him happy makes me happy. His inspectional words and quotes make me feel ten times better. Makoto Naegi always brightens up my day. I always depend on him. Makoto Naegi is the highlight of my life. I never loved a character so much before. No one can ever understand my love for him. He’s just soo special to me! Naegi stans are the best because they also have the same connection as I’m feeling. I don’t feel alone, but no one will ever love Makoto Naegi as much as I do. I will be stubborn about it.
In conclusion, Naegi is kindhearted man who truly sees the hope and positive potential in people. He’s an individual that would never give up. He’s a successful but yet such a dorky guy. He’s worked so much for the defeat of Junko’s ideas, saving people’s lives, and even the smallest things like helping out. He needs a break and all I want is to see Naegi happy. I love Makoto Naegi.

Appearance
At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Makoto appears to be young high school-aged teenager, but due to the memory loss he is two years older than he believed. He is notably shorter than almost all of his classmates. He has spiky, desaturated brown hair with a prominent ahoge, and washed-out hazel eyes. He wears a zipped-up dull green hoodie with a red stripe along the zipper, an open black jacket with gold buttons over the hoodie, black jeans, and red sneakers with white toes.
Makoto's hoodie has a logo of a red gas mask in a circle printed on the back of the hood, and the zipper goes all the way up to the top of the hood. He wears a pin shaped like a four-pointed star overlaid on a crescent moon; this is pinned to the lapel of his jacket.
After joining the Future Foundation post-Killing School Life, Makoto is seen wearing a black suit. In Danganronpa 3, it appears that Makoto had cut his hair, as it is considerably shorter. He also looks more mature, though still has a bit round face for his adult age. After he becomes the headmaster of the new Hope's Peak Academy, he wears a black suit and a beige tie, as well as a dark blue sweater vest with a white shirt underneath.

Personality
According to himself, Makoto is a very ordinary person, to the point that he feels a bit insecure about it. He does have one distinguishing feature, however, and that is his unusual optimism.
Makoto is very kind, supportive and forgiving, though sometimes slightly naive. He is friendly, polite and a lot more down-to-earth than the other students. This is possibly the reason why he is capable of approaching and befriending them in Free Time sequences, even the most antisocial such as Byakuya Togami and Toko Fukawa.
Junko refers to Makoto as a "herbivore man", which means that he is likely to be the passive one in a relationship; this is reinforced in his conversations with others. He is also a bit jumpy at times and quite easily pushed around by some other characters such as Byakuya. However, even though he is sometimes a bit of a pushover, he is also capable of being a very determined and charismatic speaker.
Makoto is a firm believer in hope, having a positive attitude about the future, no matter how bad the situation is in the present. He is also a pacifist, as he believes that killing and violence isn't the answer. While he dislikes despair, believing it to be a corrupting and negative emotion which cannot benefit the world, he is very forgiving towards those who fell into despair, such as the Remnants of Despair, believing them to be victims of Junko and not inherently evil.
The only person Makoto genuinely dislikes appears to be Junko Enoshima, the True Ultimate Despair, and he considers her his enemy. However, even in her case, he felt that she didn't need to die and tried to reason with her when she was about to execute herself, which fell on deaf ears as Junko wanted to revel in the despair of defeat and executed herself anyways.
Makoto is respected by many people as the Ultimate Hope, though he himself is very humble and even a bit embarrassed of the title. In Danganronpa Zero, it's mentioned that he has incredible strength inside, despite often appearing weaker on the outside. During hard times, he is shown to have the power to provide hope for other people, and ultimately, affect their way of thinking. However, this is not always the case, as some people refuse to listen to him or simply do not accept his ideals.
However, him being called the Ultimate Hope is but a title as he is apparently not immune to the effects of the Suicide Video.
